Congratulations Ken Tallack, Rob Tallack, Richard Mark, Rob Davis, Alain Faucher, Sylvain Berthiaume, and Louise Chevalier!

Congratulations to Hanshi Ken Tallack who was awarded with the Rank of 8th Degree black belt in Kobudo, and earned the title of Hanshi of Kobudo at the 22nd Butoku Kai this April.

Hanshi is the highest teaching rank an individual can earn. It should be noted that Ken Tallack is already recognized as an 9th degree Black belt in Karate and Hanshi of Karate.

Ken Tallack’s son, Rob Tallack, was presented with an award for Outstanding Martial Arts Performance. This award was presented to Rob directly from Prince of Japan, Higashi Fushimi, Jigo.

And do not forget Richard Mark, Rob Davis, Alain Faucher, Sylvain Berthiaume, and Louise Chevalier who were recognized as Hanshi at the Butoku Sai! Congratulations to you and Thank you for being the excellent role models we look up to!

On a Special note, Louise Chevalier is the first female Hanshi recognized by the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai in Canada!
