

Dominique began her training at Tallack Dojo in September 2009. She currently holds the title of Shidoin, with a Fourth Degree Black Belt in Karate, a Third Degree Black Sash in Kung Fu, and a Third Degree Black Belt in Kobudo. Notably, she was the first student at Tallack Dojo to achieve both a black belt and a black sash during the same examination in June 2014.
In 2022, Dominique graduated with distinction from the Fitness and Health Promotion program at St. Lawrence College, where she became a certified Registered Health and Exercise Practitioner with the Ontario Fitness Council. She utilizes her education as a personal trainer and martial arts instructor, emphasizing proper movement mechanics and injury prevention.
Dominique actively contributes to the martial arts community by organizing events such as the Kingston City Championships and the Annual Training Festival. Additionally, she serves as the president of the Canadian Karate Kung Fu Association, dedicated to preserving the Five Animal Shaolin Kung Fu lineage passed down from Si Tai Gung David Chong in Canada.
Currently, Dominique instructs both the Kobudo program and advanced Karate programs for children and adults, applying coaching techniques acquired through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Alongside her passion for teaching martial arts, she supervises and trains new instructors at Tallack Martial Arts under the mentorship of Hanshi Ken Tallack.
