Hey everybody! We hope that you had a great weekend, we are back and all set for another week here at the dojo.

This past Thursday evening was the Kingston Chamber of Commerce Chair’s Gala at the Four Points by Sheraton where Tallack Martial Arts was nominated for the Small Business of the Year Award. And although we did not win the distinction this year, we still greatly appreciate the nomination by the Kingston business community, and had a great time meeting and interacting with so many other great local Kingston Businesses.

This week is ‘Testing Week’ at the dojo, so make sure that you are in and working hard in your classes to pass your test this week, and don’t forget those Home Achievement Chart and/or Belt Testing Sheets! All successful students that pass their rank test this week will be invited to our monthly graduation ceremony, held at the dojo this Friday evening from 6-7 PM.

Coming up very soon is our annual 500 Technique Challenge and Salvation Army Fundraiser, held on Friday November 24th from 10 AM to 12 Noon at a location to be announced very very soon! We hope to see you all out to help support local Kingston families in need for the holiday season through the Salvation Army Jerome Taylor Christmas Hamper Campaign.

Also look for information later this week or early next week for our upcoming 2019 Annual Winter Training Festival, held in Kingston!
