Monday Weekly Update

18

Hey everyone, we hope that you had a great weekend, as we sure had a busy one!

We finished up our Karate Kid’s Program Graduation ceremonies this past weekend, completing all of our 13 second semester schools in the Kingston area. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and proud parents and family members as the Karate Kids got a chance to show what they learned over these past 14 weeks at their schools.

We are moving onto another ‘Testing Week’ here at the dojo, so make sure that you are all in and working hard in your classes with your Home Achievement and/or Belt Testing Sheet to earn your new tip or belt rank this week!

Our monthly graduation ceremony will be postponed this Friday due to the long weekend, so for students who pass their belt test this week, they will receive their new rank in class next week.

This weekend is the Victoria Day Long Weekend, so our classes will be postponed on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. We will return to our regular schedule on Tuesday the 22nd.

We are getting closer and closer to our annual Summer Skills Competition and Black Belt Test Day, coming up on Saturday June 2nd. We can’t wait to see you all there, starting the day at Cataraqui Woods Elementary School and finishing the day over at Tallack Dojo.

Hope you all have a great week, see you at the dojo!
