Hey everyone! We hope that you had a great weekend, as we sure did!
This past Saturday was our 22nd Annual ‘Kids Helping Kids Have Christmas’ 500-Technique Challenge, Skills Competition, and Salvation Army Fundraiser.
We raised $4000 for the Kingston Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Campaign, which will help approximately 100 local Kingston families that are in need during the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who came out, worked hard, had fun, and donated to a great local cause!
We would like to congratulate our top three fundraisers of Jonah, Tia, and Simon who helped with over $900 of the total funds raised! Also a congratulations to student Kingston who won the random draw for a free FitBit watch!
This week we are back to our regular schedule as we move onto the month of December. But be on the lookout for our monthly newsletter, posted notices, as well as take home notices mentioning our upcoming holiday hours and holiday parties!
On Thursday December 7th we will be having a meeting at 7pm for all students interested in the upcoming 2020 trip to Kyoto, Japan. You must be 13 or older to attend.
See you at the dojo!
