Hey everyone, we hope that you had a great weekend! We had a great event this past weekend where Hanshi Tallack and Sifu Cochrane were guest instructors at the annual Fall EMAC Gasshuku in Napanee, Ontario.

Thank you to Sensei Brian Lowry of the Napanee Karate Club for hosting the event and having us out! It was great to see some familiar faces and to work alongside with Hanshi-Ho Bob Davis, Kyoshi Mike Sywyk, Renshi Laura Sywyk, Sensei Laurie Winter, Sensei Trevor McLaughlin, and many more!

This week is ‘Testing Week’ here at the dojo, so make sure that you are in and working hard to pass your test this week! Also don’t forget those Home Achievement Charts and/or Belt Testing Sheets.

All successful students that pass their belt test this week will be invited to our monthly graduation ceremony, held this Friday from 6-7PM at the dojo.

This weekend is also another great event, the Canadian Goju-Ryu Meitoku-Ha Gasshuku in Levis, QC. Hosted at Vision Arts-Martiaux, Hanshi Tallack will be instructing the entire weekend. For more information, please ask us at the dojo.

Don’t forget about our annual Salvation Army fundraiser and 500 Technique Challenge on Saturday November 25th, we hope that you can join s to support a great cause!
