This week is going to be a big one with three events!
First is an Okinawan Kobudo Seminar being held in Ottawa by Kyoshi Mike Sywyk at Eastwind Budo Life Center. Details below:
Reserve the date – Aug. 26, 2017. Please join us for our 4th Annual Canadian OKDR Kobudo Gasshuku in Ottawa, Canada at Eastwind Martial Arts Dojo, This will be a day of Seminars, Gradings, Friendly Competition, BBQ, Pool Party! Investment: Seminar – $50 for OKDR members – $70 for non members Tournament $20 (price reduced-please compete) for all events. Medals for all participants in each division. Seminar and gradings will be run in conjunction with each other from 11:30 – 2:30pm Seminar will be on … TBA. Tournament will be from 2:30 – 4:00. Divisions will be kata and team kumite – any 2 person complex/drill is acceptable.

Second is a Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Seminar being held at Tallack Dojo with visiting instructor Professor Jay Chin-Leung visiting from Trenton. Details below:
Tallack Martial Arts would like to welcome back Professor Jason Chin-Leung of Trenton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for another fantastic seminar on Saturday August 26th. The seminar will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Students who wish to attend can pre-register with Melanie $60 or $75 at the door.

Third and lastly is the Annual Kingston Dragonboat Festival at Emma Martin Park. Details below:
Tallack Martial Arts will be at The Annual Kingston Dragonboat Festival, held again this year at Emma Martin Park. We will have an information booth set up for the day, and will be holding demonstrations throughout the day. Come on out for a fun and exciting day at the races for a great cause, supporting the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Demonstrations are at 10, 11, 12, 1, and 2 from Tallack Martial Arts, come on out for a fun day, we hope you can join us!
