Hey everyone! We hope that you had a great weekend as we sure had a busy one!
Don’t forget to thank your mom’s this weekend as Mother’s Day is this Sunday the 14th! And what better way than to have them try a Karate or Kung-Fu class here at the dojo! For the week of May 15th, sign up for our Mother’s Day Special of $25 for a uniform and FREE LESSONS for Mom’s until the start of June!
This past weekend was the graduation ceremonies for our second semester Karate Kids Programs schools here at the dojo. We saw over 80 students working hard with their friends and families watching them to earn their new belts. Our remaining schools will be graduating this weekend, the schedule for the remaining schools is as follows.
Friday May 12th:
5 PM – Henderson Public School (LAST NAME A-M)
6:30 PM – Henderson Public (LAST NAME N-Z) & Rideau Public (LAST NAME N-Z)
Saturday May 13th:
12 PM – Cataraqui Woods Elementary
1:30 PM – Perth Rd. Public School
3 PM – Rideau Public (LAST NAMES (A-M)
We look forward to finishing out Karate Kids Graduations this weekend, the classes at the schools will keep running until the last week in May. If you were unable to attend the graduation ceremony this past weekend, you will receive your new belt at you class at school this week! And any students who miss their graduation this weekend will receive their new belt next week in their class.

We had a group of students attend the Kitchener/Waterloo “Karate Kung-Fu Maynia Tournament” this past weekend, look for results to come later this week.
Lastly, this week is also ‘Pre-Testing Week’, so make sure that you are in and working hard in your classes to ensure you are ready to test for your next tip or belt next week for testing! Our monthly graduation ceremony will be running on Friday the 19th, but no other classes that day for the upcoming long weekend.
We have a long weekend next weekend, classes will be postponed on the Friday, Saturday, and Monday for the Victoria Day long weekend, classes will resume as per usual on Tuesday the 23rd.
