Hey everybody! Happy New Year and welcome back as we return from the long weekend.
This week we are finishing up our extra lunchtime classes for Advanced Children while they are on their last week of school holidays.
We had a great turnout for our New Year’s Eve Training session this past Saturday with Hanshi Tallack, the group got to work hard, reflect on the year past, and plan for the upcoming year. There was also a traditional dojo ceremony involving the New Year’s Spirit, thank you to everyone who came out.
This weekend is our first round of Karate Kids Graduation Ceremonies. Students from St. Thomas More, Archbishop O’ Sullivan, Bayridge Public, and Lord Strathcona Public will be graduating on Friday evening. Then students from Lancaster Drive, Polson Park, and Amherstview Public will be graduating this Saturday afternoon. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
All of the information for our Annual Kingston Winter Training Festival held on the upcoming February Family Day Long weekend at the Ambassador Hotel has been released, look for the poster to come soon!
Lastly our new Fitness Kickboxing class is starting this Sunday and will be running for the next six weeks. It’s not too late to sign up still, get a great start to your New Year’s Resolution!
We will leave you with today’s Quote, see you at the dojo!
