Hey everyone, we hope that you had a great weekend! We had a some snow over the night and even though buses/schools were cancelled today, we are still open! Just use your best judgement in traveling out this evening.
This week is packed with many things, starting with our ‘Testing Week’, so make sure that you are in with your Home Achievement Charts and/or Belt Testing Sheets for your tip or belt test this week. All successful students who pass their belt test this week are invited to our monthly graduation ceremony here at the dojo on Friday evening from 6 to 7 PM.
This Saturday is our day of holiday parties as we start with our Children’s Christmas Parties, move onto a Birthday Party, and finish with our Teen and Adult Christmas Party, busy busy!
The following is all of the details for the parties on Saturday as well as our Holiday Hours/Schedule for the Christmas & New Year’s Season:
Our annual Children’s Christmas parties will be on Saturday December 17th.
For ages 4-8, the party will be from 10-11am, and for ages 9-12, the party will be from 11:30-12:30pm.
We will also be holding our Teen and Adult Christmas party on Saturday December 17th, from 6-9pm.
This party is pot-luck, so please bring something to share with the group! There will also be a contest for the ugliest Christmas sweater and a gift game. If you are coming to the party, please bring an enticingly wrapped gift between five to ten dollars in value to be handed out in the gift game. Everyone will go home with a gift!
Please enjoy the holidays from class with your friends and family on December 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st, January 1st & 2nd.
Classes will run during regularly scheduled times throughout the weeks and there will also be additional lunchtime classes from 12-1pm on December 27th, 28th, and 29th as well as January 3rd, 4th, and 5th for all advanced students.
We also will be having a special new year’s training session from 11am-1pm on Saturday December 31st.
Classes will return to our regular schedule starting January 3rd. We hope you have a great holiday season and a happy new year with your friends and families.
