Last year, Tallack Martial Arts was excited to add an new Lion to the Lion Dance Team. Recently, the new lion has been placed in the downstairs dojo

During the Summer Training Festival at the end of July, the Lion Dance Team performed a ceremony to ‘awaken’ their new lion. Chinese Lions are not to be used until the awakening ceremony is performed, according to the culture around lion dancing.
