At the age of 16, Sam traded in his soccer cleats for a Kung-Fu uniform and has never looked back, and in 2013 he earned his 1st degree Black Sash.

Since then, Sam has assumed the role of Senior Student and Assistant Instructor to the Tallack Martial Arts Kung-Fu program, assisting both in class and at local events.

Sam never lost his passion for teaching new students and by 2018 he earned his 3rd degree Black Sash.
